Join us for our Annual Wayne Library Alliance “Ride To Read” Poker Run on Saturday, May 20, 2023.
Register online by May 18th and pay $20.00 per poker hand. It’s $25.00 per poker hand if you register in-person at your first library stop on the day of the event.
Support the libraries and enjoy a ride through Wayne County.
Start the event on May 20th, 2023 at any library after 9:30am. Visit at least five (5) of the seven (7) Wayne County libraries. Get a poker card for each poker hand you’ve registered and have it recorded on your score sheet at each stop.
Finish the event by 3:00pm at the Taste of the Poconos, located at Carlton Drake Memorial Park at 994 Main Street, Newfoundland, PA . Our “Ride To Read” completion table will be located outside the entrance of Taste of the Poconos.
Winners will be announced at 3:30pm for the top three, 5-card poker hands at the “Ride to Read” completion table You do not need to be present to win.
Open to all vehicles – motorcycles, cars, vans, school buses and more!
Free giveaways at each library stop.
A $5.00 entry to Taste of the Poconos will be available to all “Ride To Read” participants (a $20.00 savings!). Just show them your completed scoresheet (before you turn it in to us) to qualify.
This event will take place rain or shine, there is no rain date.
