The Newfoundland Area Public Library (NAPL) is working with Wayne Tomorrow! and southern Wayne residents to develop one or multiple community hubs to promote economic, cultural, educational, social, and recreational growth and wellbeing in the Newfoundland area despite limited resources. The NAPL is coordinating with these groups to renovate its second floor, which is currently a storage space, and make it into a public space -- the start of a larger vision of community hubs and growth in southern Wayne County.
To get this first project started, the NAPL collaborated with these groups to create and distribute a survey to get an idea of what people in the community would like to see come out of the community hubs project and how invested they are in seeing this happen. Results can be reviewed below, as well as a link to donate towards getting the NAPL second floor project underway. Thank you for your interest and support! Here's to seeing a bright future for the Newfoundland area and beyond.
