July 2020 Re-opening Information
The WCPL's Current Hours are: Mon- 10 am- 6 pm Tues- 10 am- 6 pm Weds- 10 am- 6 pm Thurs- 10 am- 6 pm Fri- 10 am - 6 pm Sat- 10 am - 3 pm *Curbside Service will continue for those who are not comfortable coming inside the building or for those who are not able to wear a mask.
There are a few things we need you to do, so that we can stay open:
In both yellow and green phases, face masks are required inside the building.
For those who are unable to wear a mask we will continue to offer curbside service. Please take advantage of that.
Do not jeopardize the health and safety of others or the library's funding. Put on a cool mask and come make us smile.
If you don't have one, we do. As always- we are happy to share!
Put all return items in the book bins OUTSIDE the library.
We know you are used to bringing them inside.
For now- please help us with our cleaning and quarantining of used items by returning everything in the outside bins.
Computers will be available in 30 minute increments.
Check in with the reference desk staff to be assigned a computer.
The computer will be cleaned by staff & sit for 15 minutes between patron uses.
Wi-Fi is available from inside & outside the library.
Please maintain social distancing at all times.
Due to limited capacity in the library, you may need to wait outside for a few moments.
Please make sure that you allow room for those around you to pass to the book bins.
Please enter through the front door (unless you need the ramp) and exit out the back.
Items can be checked out at circulation & in the children's area to avoid clustering.
All high touch surface areas are being cleaned frequently throughout the day.
Items being returned are being cleaned and quarantined according to CDC, DOH, & OCL regulations.
Thank you for exiting promptly at closing, so that our staff can clean and be ready to serve you the next day.
We are so excited to have you back inside the library
Please make sure you twinkle your eyes and give the staff some happy jazz hands to let them know you are smiling!
If we all work together to maintain health & safety standards, hopefully we will be able to increase hours & resource share again soon.
Slow & steady wins the race. We want to make sure our library spreads joy, inspiration, equality, information, entertainment, and education...not a virus.
Thank you for your support!
Your library staff is smiling, giving you happy jazz hands, and ready to serve you!
