  • Interlibrary Loan Service: borrow materials from libraries throughout PA and the U.S.
  • Family Place (Hawley Library) Find early childhood information, parent education, emergent literacy, socialization and family support.
  • Reference Service: use experienced librarians to save time and frustration searching for information (call your local library, click on Contact Us, or click on Ask Here PA)
  • Meeting space (call your nearest library for policies and availability)
  • Outreach: invite library staff to present a program at your location
  • Extension collections: for nursing homes and personal care homes, small collections delivered for a month at a time
  • Passport applications (Hawley and Lake-Salem)

Free access to Ancestry.com genealogy resources is available at all seven libraries in the county. 


Community Career and Training

 Books, DVDs, and computer resources are available to explore careers, find training, and apply for jobs.

Click Online Services where you will find a variety of resources available whenever and wherever you are. For career resources, visit  the Learning Express Library which includes an Adult Learning Center, Career Center, School Center, College Prep Center, College Center, Recursos para Hispanohablantes and the High School Equivalency Center.
